Quarter of a Century Celebrations

In 1976 kom die eerste klein groepie Tuli beeste in Suid Afrika aan, vanaf Zimbabwe. Die eerste informele klub word in 1987 gestig met wyle Jan Mouton van Vrede as President. Gedurende 1995 kry die Tuli amptelike erkenning van SA Stamboek as ‘n ontwikkelende ras. 25 laar later, op Vrydag 1 Mei, vier die Genootskap sy 25ste bestaansjaar Die ras ervaar die afgelope vyf jaar ongekende groei, hoofsaaklik as gevolg  van die feit dat hy homself in die omstandighede bewys as ‘n winsgewende veldbees.  Die huidige President is Ben  Raath van Britstown met Charl van Rooyen as ras adviseur.


Tuli Society celebrates a quarter of a century 


In 1976 the first small group of Tuli cattle arrive in South Africa from Zimbabwe.  The first informal club was formed in 1987 with the late Jan Mouton from Vrede as President. During 1995 the Tuli received official recognition from SA Stud Book as a developing breed. 25 years later, on Friday 1 May, the Society celebrates their 25th year of existence The breed experienced unprecedented growth during the last five years, mainly due to the fact that it is a profitable range cattle breed. The current President is Ben Raath of Britstown with Charl van Rooyen as breed advisor.
